We have nine cabins - 3 Housekeeping (including one on its own private island) and 6 American Plan; each of the cabins was hand-hewn and built between 1886 and 1945. All of our cabins are private to your party and include: linens, sheets, pillows, and towels; ensuite bathrooms with hot and cold running water; and wood stoves, firewood, and kindling. The cabins have electricity only when the generator is running. At night, light is provided by propane lamps.
American Plan guests enjoy a full breakfast and dinner served family-style in the dining room of the main lodge; a packed lunch to eat on one of the ponds, on the trail, or in the dining room; and breads, biscuits, and desserts baked fresh daily.
Housekeeping cabins are equipped for our guests to do their own cooking- each has its own kitchen with stove/oven, refrigerator, and sink; charcoal grill; cookware; and dishes.
Our cabins sleep from two to nine people:
Galilee (American Plan) sleeps 3 people
Pushineer (American Plan) sleeps 4 people
The Little Cabins (American Plan) sleep 2 people each
Togue (American Plan) sleeps 7-8 people
Upper (Housekeeping) sleeps 4 people
Gardner (Housekeeping) sleeps 6 people
The Island (Housekeeping) sleeps 7-8 people.
All stays include the use of our canoes, kayaks, paddles, and life jackets. Our American Plan guests have the right to the first choice of canoes on the surrounding ponds.
