Camp is filled with activities for the avid sportsman. Whether your interest is fishing (fly or spin-casting), hunting for bear, moose, or grouse, or just relaxing with the kids, we have a way to get you into the great outdoors.
We offer something for nearly every type of sportsman. Our fishing and hunting are top-notch. With ponds ranging from a few acres to a few hundred acres, brooks, rivers, and woods, the North Maine Woods is our playground.
For our guests who want to enjoy the area's wildlife and natural splendor, we don't disappoint. There's typically a moose or two who call Island Pond home for a portion of the season, and the woods around Camp abound with critters and birds of all kinds. Those who take one of the hikes around Camp will often see our wild friends up close and personal.
If human-powered water sports are your thing, we have you covered as well. We keep canoes and boats on each of the ponds in the area, and we have several kayaks at Camp as well. Guests are welcome to bring motors to use on the larger ponds, and we've even had folks bring small sail craft for their own use.
